#01Project IKIGAI

A one-stop solution for all
mental health issues

I along with my three batch-mates Satvik Singh, Gurusha Khera and Shivam Kapur came up with project Ikigai, this strives to destigmatize mental health issues, offer affordable therapy, raise awareness about this issue and debunk myths and false information that stops people from seeking help. Our project aims to educate people about the importance of a healthy mental well-being and encourages to seek professional help whether it is from the comfort of their home or a physical therapy session.
Features

  • Making a website that offers questionnaires curated by psychologists and psychiatrists to users that detect if the user is prone to having the issue in question

    Future Prospectus

  • Without anticipating the coronavirus pandemic, the WHO earlier predicted that by 2020, roughly 20 percent of the population will suffer from mental illnesses. That means, today, more than 200 million Indians may have mental illnesses, and the situation likely to worsen.
  • Taking note of these circumstances and all the statistics, we can conclude that our country is highly deprived of the facilities it is in dire need of.
  • Affordable and remote therapy is of utmost importance in a country like ours where an unstable mental well-being is demonized and labelled “lunacy”.
  • Stable mental health is something that we should always aim for, therefore, this venture has a lot of scope and opportunity to truly soar and help people.
